Basic Class I (비정규반)
The purpose of this class is to prepare students to join on the grade level. There are two classes.
아래와 같은 학생들을 대상으로 일정 준비 기간을 거쳐 정규반에서 수업받는 것을목표로 하는 반. 모두 두 반으로 이루어짐.
- Late Starters: 한글을 배울 시기를 놓친 학생
- Students whose parents are non-native Korean speakers: 부모님들이 한국어 사용자가 아닌 학생
- Students who are struggling on grade level: 정규반에서의 수업이 불가능한 학생
Adult Class I / II (성인반)
Any Adults who want to learn Korean language and culture.
한국언어와 문화에 관심있는 성인을 위한 반. 소정의 등록비 있음.
Person of the month (이달의 인물): Golden Bell Quiz
Introduce a famous Korean person of the month to provide students with a good role model and positive self-esteem.
매 달 한국의 주요인물을 선정하여 학생들에게 소개한다. 이는 한국인으로서 위대한 업적을 남긴 이들의 삶을 공부함으로써 학생들에게 좋은 역할모델을 제공하고 선조들에 대한 자긍심도 갖게하기 위함임.
Afterschool Activities (특별활동)
For after-school activities (12:45 PM – 1: 30 PM), students can choose from a variety of classes offered according to student interest for various cultural experiences ($100.00/semester) Min. 13 needed
방과후 (오후 12:45 – 오후 1:30) 활동으로 관심있는 학생에 한하여 아래의 활동에 참가할 수 있다 ($100.00/매학기). 정원 13명.
- Chinese character: 한자
- Traditional Dance: 고전무용
- Martial Arts: 태권도
- Calligraphy: 서예/묵화
Meeting with Specialist (전문가와의 만남)
Invite special speakers twice per semester especially for 7th to 12th graders. The main reason for providing this particular presentation is for students to help them find the path they wish to pursue in their lives. It is offered to the public.
학기마다 다양한 분야에서 종사하는 한 명의 전문가를 초빙하여 7학년부터 12학년 학생을 대상으로 그들의 대학에서의 전공선택이나 직업을 선택하는데 도움을 주기 위함. 지역사회 관심있는 모든 이에게 공개.
